Greetings from London!
I am currently sitting in a tiny bustling coffee house filled with locals sharing communal tables. As I sit here, listening to ’60s music and enjoying a London fog, I can’t help but feel like I’m in someone else’s dream.
I’ve only been here for a few days, and I’m already totally smitten. When I get back next week, you’re all going to get an earful – or eyeful, rather – about everything I’ve been doing and eating. Until then, I’ve got a bangin’ pasta recipe for you guys, which also just happens to be perfect for the final weeks of the winter doldrums. Continue reading
The Dr. Frankenstein in me is going crazy with glee since it came up with the secret ingredient to these cookies.
Maybe I’m not exactly Frankenstein. Thankfully. But my inner mad scientist always comes out when food is involved. Like when I made chocolate mousse with no dairy, or creamy ice cream without cream, or everything-free chocolate chip cookies. Unlike all those other times, though, I’ve altered this recipe to be even more gluttonous and dairy-full. And I have no regrets.
Hi friends! We’re back with a recap of what we’re up to and what we’ve been crushing on this month. We do this (almost) every month, so be sure to sign up below to stay in-the-know. We’re huge fans of Fall (I keep saying that, I know), and we’re always finding new things to love about it. So we’re here to share that love with all of you!
Goodbye October! I don’t know where the time went or what I did with it. Without delaying any further, let’s catch up on some of my favorites from this month. Continue reading
I hope you all enjoyed last weekend, the most Fall-ish weekend yet! I hope you went apple picking and wore cozy sweaters and your favorite Fall boots. Maybe there were some cider doughnuts thrown in the mix. I hope you did everything you wanted to do and more.
Sadly, I did not have that kind of weekend. My Sunday night ended in tears, only because I am apparently overly sensitive and become unreasonably attached to fictional characters. I just have a lot of feelings, you guys.
As much as I want to forget about it, and feel slightly ridiculous talking about it, what I’m referring to is the first episode of The Walking Dead’s new season. For those of you who don’t watch it, you can skip ahead to all the challah-talk below. Continue reading
You may have noticed that I’m crazy about pecans.
Or, if you’re a normal person who doesn’t spend all their time stalking me, you may not have.
But I do, I love pecans. They’re a pricey nut, so I don’t bake with them often. When I do, I always immediately consider moving to Georgia and becoming a pecan farmer. That’s a thing, right?
